DCT Gdansk launched the first permanent railway connection of the Euro China Train. The train will regularly arrive from Xi’an in China via the Adampol Małaszewicze land terminal to the DCT maritime container terminal in the Port of Gdańsk.

China establishes world’s largest shipbuilding group
China State Shipbuilding Corporation officially debuted in Beijing on Tuesday, as a result of the merger between China’s two leading shipbuilding companies China Shipbuilding Industry Company (CSIC) and China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The merger of CSSC and CSIC will create the world’s largest shipbuilding group.

Slovakia connects to China with new route via Ukraine
Metrans has launched a new regular rail freight service from the Chinese city of Xi’an to Dunajska Streda, near Bratislava in the west of Slovakia. The train runs via Dobra and firstly arrived in the Slovak terminal on Wednesday 3 October, where it was immediately forwarded to the final terminals of Prague, Ceska Trebova, Budapest and Krems.
USPA & TITR have signed MoU at the 3rd Economic Railway Forum held in Poland
Representatives of railway departments from Ukraine, Poland and Romania as well as more than 60 representatives of ports and logistics companies attended the general meeting of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (TITR). The Nomad Express train, which runs along the TITR, transports cargo from China to Europe on average for 10-12 days, that is one of the main advantages of the route.
