The Three Seas Fund will be one of the main pillars for financing key infrastructure projects in the region, from the Baltic to the Black Sea and the Adriatic.
“The idea of building the Outer Port is becoming a reality, it is the greatest project in the history of the Port of Gdynia and is primarily aimed at increasing the transhipment potential and further reinforcing the competitive position of the Port of Gdynia in the Baltic Sea region,” stressed Adam Meller, President of Port of Gdynia Authority S.A.
The Port of Gdansk Authority has been working on the concept of development of the Central Port for nearly a year. The first terminals may be ready as soon as 2029.
The tackled issue was the cooperation within the competence of the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation and the State Water Farm “Polish Waters (Wody Polskie)”.
