On May 25th, 2018 Mr. Marek Gróbarczyk, Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation of Poland paid a visit to Tallin and held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Kadri Simson, Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure of Estonia on the board of the „Dar Młodzieży” sailing ship, which moored to the Port of Tallin on the occasion of the ongoing „Independence Sail”
Polish sailing ship will cruise around the world to celebrate the 100-anniversary of the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty and will visit Hong Kong and Shanghai.
During the official visit of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to Vilnius there was signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the authorities of Szczecin-Świnoujście and Klaipeda seaports. The document was signed in the presence of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Saulius Skvernelis, Prime Minister of Lithuania.
The World Maritime Day will be held in Szczecin between 13th and 16th June 2018. The topic of the event is: “IMO 70: Our heritage – better shipping for a better future”.
Ministry along with Maritime University of Gdynia and Salesian Missionary organize a cruise around the world to celebrates the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty.
The leading theme of the 2TMM was “Intermodality as a guarantee of effective transport for the benefit of the economy”. The event was held in Warsaw on 25-26 October 2017.
Official Inauguration of Coordinating Secretariat of Maritime Issues in the 16+1 format took place at the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation headquarters.
Ambassadors took part in a preparatory seminar for the CEEC-China 2nd Transport Ministers Meeting. The purpose of the seminar was to present the schedule of events to be held this year.
